welcome to
st. anne church

Serving East Moline and the surrounding area since 1919.

A destination for faith~

St. Anne is a faith filled community that embraces diversity and has adapted to the changing environment while maintaining its core Catholic values and identity. By remembering those who have come before us, we honor the legacy of the diversity of our founders who, molded by God’s blessings and the holy priests He empowered, joined together to establish our church.

Our Path to Our Lady of Grace

In Our “Sites”

CCD at Our Lady of Grace Parish

Many have been wondering what CCD will look like once our parishes merge in to Our Lady of Grace. After the merger, our religious education program will be under the direction of one DRE (Director of Religious Education).

CCD will be offered as one identical program offered at two locations (St. Anne or St. John campus). Families and teachers will choose and commit to CCD at one time and location for the entire school year. This will allow families to choose the location and time that works best for their schedule. Watch for more information near the end of the summer.

Some religious education events will be run as combined efforts, such as OCIA, youth group, and Totus Tuus. Together we will raise our children in one faith community.

Our Path to Our Lady of Grace” will provide weekly updates and new information regarding the merger of St. John’s, St. Anne’s and St. Mary’s. As we venture on this new journey together, we ask Our Lady of Grace to pray for us!

WINGS

WINGS will be having their second Breakfast Meeting on Saturday, June 7th at 9:00 am at Fresh Kitchen (formally the Windmill) located at 1190 Avenue of the Cities, East Moline. This will take the place of our regularly scheduled Thursday, June 5th meeting.

We are inviting the women from St. John’s Women’s Group to join us. We will be discussing plans for our evolution into one combined Women’s Group of Our Lady of Grace Parish.

Please let us know if you will be able to join us by texting or calling Denise McNeil at 309-781-5912.

This will be a great chance for you to join us and help create a vision for our group going forward. We hope to see you there.

Totus Tuus 2025

Registration is Open!

It’s registration time for Totus Tuus at St. Anne! Totus Tuus is a Latin phrase that means “totally yours”, a motto given to us by Saint John Paul II in describing his dedication to Jesus through Mary. During one week this summer, we will provide Catholic children entering grades one through twelve, a prayer filled environment that will help them become closer to Christ through His Mother, Mary. This program combines fun with faith filled experiences, including daily Mass for the Day Program. A creative and enthusiastic team of young adults from the Diocese of Peoria will help youth come to know and devote themselves to Mary, Our Mother. In 2025, Totus Tuus will focus on the Sacraments and the Joyful Mysteries of the Rosary. The day program is grades 1-6, from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm, June 23-27. The fee for the day program is $40.00 per child or $100.00 for three or more children in the same family. Registration for the day program will be limited to 75 participants. Children in the day program will need a sack lunch each day. We also request one boxed snack to share during the week. The evening program is for Jr. High and High School (grades 7 through 12) students, from 6:30-8:30 pm, June 22-26. The fee for the evening program is $30.00 per child. Registration is limited to 75 participants. Registration ends when we reach or participant capacity so register soon! Registration forms can be found at each entrance of the church at St. Anne or St. John, as well as the link below. Completed registration forms and payment may be returned to St. Anne Parish, 603 18th Ave., East Moline, IL 61244. Or in the collection basket at Mass.
